The Ballet Bible
The first time I bought this book, I thought it would be fun to share with my students. I collect everything about dance, knicknacks, posters, DVDs ... so books. When I found the ebook online I thought that at best it would be a nice addition to my collection of memories. I am a dance teacher and volunteer work in a dance contest and I'm always looking for things on the "world of dance," I love anything to do with dance. I'm a big fan of So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars. I can not wait for them to start again.
So when I actually had the opportunity to read the Ballet Bible I was pleasantly surprised! It exceeded my expectations (which was not very high given the sales pitch). He had actually found a real gem, an e-book on ballet with sound technical and valid education. The book contains over 200 pages of valuable information - SURPRISE! SURPRISE!
Many of the students I teach are largely dance competitions such as the allocation of American dance, Starpower, Headliners and all the other great, I'm sure many of you are aware. So they are not always interested in how to become a dancer, but always try to einkorn in them during their dance training is not about how to become a dancer's important. It is the solid foundation of ballet training that support everything and anything related to dance. Ballet training is what really separates the great dancers of low or mediocre. So put your eyes on me after one of my lectures and reluctantly migrated to the upper chamber ballet. Well there is a problem - finances. It is true that all my students can afford the additional courses that we offer in our school and of course short of their training. I must admit that even if it is regrettable that these students do not always do well when it comes time for the dance competition season. This is a sentence.
Well, now that we have - The Ballet of the Bible! Although you can not compare, of course, this is a real classroom study guide for those who want to put in some overtime at home. If you can not afford one class per week, but you want to read about some tips to improve your game or dance competition really improve your ballet technique as a whole, this is a great buy.
Section 1 - "The 3 simple rules of a Prima Ballerina" is the pdf version of ebook that contains over 200 pages of text, images and complex artwork ballet positions and movements. This part of the e-book that shows how to correctly perform the movements and also illustrates the most common mistakes that most people make when learning. This is the best part of this section of the material. Sometimes the dancers really need to be shown the wrong order to correct and correctly perform the movement path. Excellent!
Section 2 - "Audio Terms and Definitions" is the audio software This section provides a search feature that allows you and find a ballet term and learn their meanings find Each year, dance, position and /.. or attitude, all you have to do is point and find the reader also learns the correct French accents for specific terms -.. that is detailed After clicking the term can hear the correct definition, is a great feature! This is exactly like hearing a dance teacher in the classroom.
Section 3 - "Video Demonstrations" is a collection of 60 videos on ballet technique. In other words, 60 videos that is 60 different classes. If you had to actually pay for 60 dance classes you can imagine the costs incurred. Now you can put on your dancing shoes and follow along your stay. Being able to see and imitate is a very valuable tool that the Bible offers ballet!
Now all the positives that say of course there are drawbacks.
Be in a dance class with an experienced, qualified is irreplaceable. With an e-book, it fails "hands-on" aspect of dance to say the least. It is necessary for the teacher to correct and manipulate the student body in physically correct positions. This is something that can not be achieved in a classroom. But the alternative is nothing.
So - BALLET Bible is the best compromise! Its author, Anita Leembruggen, is a professional dancer and teacher in ballet. She has spent years in the study and gave this book to share with your students and / or children at home. Now everyone can learn ballet, it will be as simple as turning on your computer. So put your ballet shoes and dance and the ballet Anita in the Bible!
Good luck in all your dance competitions this year!
